The waveforms in Hindenburg are rectified waveforms. In short this gives you double the amount of information aboutthe audio than regular waveforms. As standard the waveforms have different shades of color. Thelightest color is the peaks - the darkest color is the RMS value …how loud it sounds

Cmd + TImport audio into the workspace. You can import any audio that can otherwise be played on yourcomputer. This also includes audio from video clips. Decoding: All audio will be converted to Wav audio format andsaved in the session file folder, when you save the session.Analyzing: The audio levels will be analyzed and set correctly forbroadcast use

Ifyou answer yes, the the session sample-rate will be converted tofit the sample rate of the selected audio. Do this if all you audio isrecorded in a specific sample-rate, like 48 KHzDecoding: All audio will be converted to Wav audio format andsaved in the session file folder, when you save the session.Analyzing: The audio levels will be analyzed and set correctly forbroadcast use

The Voice Profiler is a unique tool for creating consistent soundfor narration.The Hindenburg PRO series can take a “snapshot” of your idealsound. Split Cmd + B “Split” or “Break” is used to separate a region. This can beused to quickly select areas that later can be removed ormoved.

Delete- region Backspace "Delete/clear - region” is used when editing out audio. In thiscase an entire region. Use this for removing entire blocks ofaudio.

Delete - selection Backspace "Delete or Clear - selection” is used when editing out audio.In this case a selection of audio. This could be a single word,a breath or a sentence.

Cut - selection Cmd + X "Cut selection" is used when editing out a selection of audio.This could be a single word, a breath or a sentence.

Cut - region Cmd + X "Cut region” is used when editing out audio. In this case anentire region. Use this for removing entire blocks of audio.This could be a single sentence, an entire interview or anaudio bed.

Copy Cmd + C “Copy” will add the selection to the program memory andcan be pasted or inserted later. This can be used to copy abreath or ambience.




Paste Cmd + V "Paste” is used when placing audio in on top of existingaudio This can be used to replace sections of the currentaudio.

Paste in selection Cmd + V "Paste in selection" is used when placing audio in a selection.This can be used for adding ambience or music to a specificarea.

Insert Cmd + I "Insert" is used when inserting audio in front of existingaudio. This can be used to move words and sentences infront of the current audio.

Replace Shift + Cmd + V "Replace" is used to replace audio. This can be used toreplace for example a short breath with a longer breath.

Duplicate Cmd + D "Duplicate" is used to duplicate a region or selection. Thiscan be used for for making music loops or duplicatingambience.

Volume - duck Shift + Cmd + arrow up/down “Duck” is typically used for “ducking” music under narration.This can also be used for ambient beds or voice over

Volume - bedding Shift + Cmd + arrow up/down “Audio bedding” is typically used for “bedding” ambienceunder a narration or interview

Fade Cmd + F “Fades” are used for making smooth transitions from onepiece of audio to another - or for gently bringing inambience or music.

Fade - slope Shift + Drag “Fade slope” is used to make a more gradual fade.

Fade - multi regions Cmd + F “Fade over multiple regions” is used to create a single fadeover small regions. This could be ambience or edited music.

Fade - cross fade Cmd + F “Cross Fade” is used for making a transition from one soundto another on the same track.

Fade - cross fade point Cmd + mouse “Cross Fade point” is the cross section of the fade. It can bemoved to fit the fade point better.

Fade - multitrack Cmd + F “Multi track Fade” is used for adding the same fade for morethan one track.

Insert silence Cmd + right arrow “Insert Silence” is used to insert room into the edit.

Delete silence Cmd + left arrow “Delete Silence” is used to delete blank room in the edit.
