The LRC is a library which supports students & staff at Highlands School. We are upstairs from the main reception. This presentation will tell you more about the services the LRC provides.

Book Boxes

Starting to research a topic with a class? Non-fiction books are a great starting point for keywords.Why not order a book box from the library and ask students to practise their note-taking skills.(If we don’t have the right books I can recommend reliable websites)

Library & computer access

• 60 Computers available to book for lessons. Book in advance using google docs link

• Photocopier for teachers• Printing for staff & students coming soon

The Day Online Newspaper

On line newspaper across all subjects, available in school. Great resource.
