The prayer ministry of our con-gregation is a large network of ministers, staff and laity partner-ing together in response to spe-cific prayer requests. Requests may be made by completing a prayer card located in the pew rack, calling the church office or
sending information to our e-mail prayer group. Information is transmitted via e-mail and later compiled weekly for the Monday Morning Prayer Group.
If you have loved ones serving in the military, please contact the church office so they can be added to this list. SSgt. Scott Welstead - Buckley Field USMC; Aurora, CO (Vickie Welstead’s grandson)

FAITH HEALTH MINISTRIES
Our church has joined a pilot
program with Faith Health
Waco, starting in January. The goal is to bridge the gap
between the church and healthcare. Faith Health Waco
is facilitating a partnership between churches/faith
communities and hospitals, clinics and the health district
to provide a network of support to improve the health
of the Waco community. More to come in December.

Dear Church Family,
We want to thank each of you for your prayers for me and my family during this “storm” we have been going through. The church has giv-en us so much support, love and hope. We appreciate the messages, calls, cards and visits. We are also thankful for Pastor Bryan’s visits to the hospital. Thank you for you continued prayers.
In Christ,
Melissa, Michael and Lynn Family
Dear Church,
Thank you so much for all you have done for our mom over the years. You can’t know how much your visits, prayers and beautiful cards have meant to her and us. She always had us arrange the cards so she could easily see them in the hospital. Thank you to Reverend Bryan who said just the right words. We give a special thanks to the Watermark Sun-day School Class for the delicious Friday night meal and to the church for the wonderful Saturday meal.

Stephen Ministry was started in July of 2008. We have trained 12 Stephen Ministers. We have cared for 139 people. Our last
training was a year and a half ago. We would like to do a train-ing in the spring if there is enough interest. Stephen Ministry works hard to meet the needs of our church. There are hard times for everyone and we are here to serve our congregation. Call Ruth Smith at 254-772-6234 if you know of someone in need and they will be contacted.
