Recycling Programs for Car Wash Wastewater & Used Oil All car washes installed at Hertz facilities recycle and reuse a minimum of 80% of wastewater. Hertz only contracts with vendors that will recycle our used oil. In 2006, over 1.2 million gallons of

used oil were collected and recycled from our facilities nationwide.
