State & federal tax incentives for EV owners

Switching to high-efficiency LED street lights can yield a 50-70% annual electricity savings, which can cover the cost of installing LEDs and EV charging stations over time.

LED street lighting can last up to 5 times longer than lighting currently in use. LEDs can equal and even improve the lighting output of traditional Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium fixtures using less wattage, sometimes up to 90% less power.

LED lamps increase safety by turning on and off instantly and directing the beam of light exactly where it needs to go.

EVSE is an Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) 1.6 approved vendor, which ensures open access to chargers with no member cards or subscriptions needed.

EVSE’s chargers mount and wire into LED poles, eliminating the high costs of permitting, saw cutting, trenching and wiring.

EVSE chargers are smart and can throttle back power to reduce current during peak demand times. Smart chargers, smart grid ready!

The high-efficiency LED streetlights also use less power, which is reallocated to the charging stations. EV owners can charge their vehicles while streetlights are on without overloading your existing grid.

You can also reduce or eliminate your costs by using available funds from the $2.1 billion Volkswagen settlement, local utility company programs and other sources.

    Smart Charging Solutionsfor Electric Vehicles

The AutoCoil 3704 is configurable to operate at Level 1 or Level 2 by dipswitch settings or via remotenetwork command. This flexibility simplifies charging station decisions as either Level 1 or Level 2 areavailable at any time. Level 1 is ideal for long term, low turnover parking scenarios and workplacecharging. Level 2 is ideal for long term parking as well, with the benefit of faster charging times to allowfor more EV driver’s access to charging.

The 3704 is equipped with a state-of-the-art cable management system, which fully retracts and protects the 20-foot cable from harsh weather and vandals. The cable management system is ADA and OSHA compliant by keeping cables off the ground when connected to a vehicle and when not connected. There are tens of thousands of chargers today with cables on the ground in weather and in the pathway of pedestrians creating a public safety hazard. EVSE is the leader in EV charger cable management design that addresses OSHA and ADA requirements.

Modular in design, the model 3704 can be configured for simple on-off control, or the more demanding requirements of credit/debit and ID card processing. EVSE chargers are compatible with Open Charge Alliance charger networks from Greenlots and OpConnect. This ensures universal access to chargers without proprietary membership required. The Open Charge Alliance is an international standard for the development of charger networking based on an open vs proprietary architecture.
