Keep your existing site.

We will provide FTP access so you can download the files and transfer the site to hosting provider of your choice.

Choose the new ActionCoach site.

We will setup this site with our hosting partner at no cost to you and provide support, hosting & maintenance for a monthly fee. You can then choose to leverage our services to customize the site or choose a local web developer to assist you.

Keeping Your Existing Site - Transfer

If you choose to keep your existing site, we will provide you with FTP access to the server so you (or your technical resource) can download the files and transfer them to a local hosting provider.

Important Note: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OPTION. The existing websites are based on older technology that was highly customized. It is our opinion that this platform has reached its end of life and that is why we recommend upgrading to the new ActionCoach site, based on the WordPress platform. Although we don’t recommend this option, we do not want to exclude it.

Here are the technical details for a local hosting provider if you choose to transfer:

• PHP Version: 5.2.17

• Joomla Version: 1.5.17

• Apache Version: 2.2.3 (Red Hat)

• MYSQL Version: 5.0.77

If you decide to keep your existing site, the files must be removed from our server no later than 12:00 p.m. EDT on January 15, 2015. The server that is currently hosting the existing sites will cease to exist after this date.

New ActionCoach Site

If you choose to implement the new ActionCoach site, we will launch the pre-built version of this site on our partner’s hosting platform. There is no charge for setting up the site on our servers. However, this site will require customization for each installation - this is not meant to be “cookie-cutter” site that looks the same for everyone. For example, it is expected that each new implementation of this site will require the customization of the:

• Banners

• Menu Structure

• Pages (and the content on those pages)

• Blog Articles

• Etc.

The site includes WordPress plugins that enable the management of: Pages, Blog Posts, Calls to Action, Forms, Testimonials, Google Analytics, Banners, Squeeze Pages, Widgets, Custom Share Buttons, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) data management. There is also a custom plugin to assist in managing the data on the homepage.

Along with the plugins that have been added to the system, we have built a custom Squeeze Page template, making squeeze page creation as easy as adding a page to the site and choosing this template. Equally important as the robust functionality and easy-of-use provided by this new site is its Responsive Web Design (RWD). RWD is the approach of designing a site that responds to the device that is being used based on screen size, platform and orientation, as shown by the graphic to the below.

So, instead of trying to have different designs that fit every type and size of device — a smart phone, an iPod, an iPad, a Blackberry, a Kindle, a netbook, or a Microsoft tablet, or a 50” screen TV, it is best to have one design the responds (or adapts) to the type of device and displays the content accordingly. Next Steps For Your New ActionCOACH Site

Step 1: Complete and sign the Web Solution Order Form (with credit card authorization) and return to [email protected]. When you complete the web solution order form, please make sure you select the customization options (if any) required to meet your specific needs. Please be sure to complete the credit card authorization form as payment is required before we start your project.

IMPORTANT: Your Web Solution Order Form must be received no later than February 5, 2014 if we are to achieve the customizations before the server expires. The new websites will be launched in the order in which the order forms were received, so don’t delay.

Step 2: The support team will create the new site with our hosting partner and set you up as a user in the system so you can begin customizing the site. This will require that you have knowledge of WordPress and the various plugins. If you don’t have this knowledge, then consider the customization options as listed in this document.

Step 3: We will email you when the site setup is complete and you can begin your customizations. Once the site setup is complete, the monthly billing for your site will start on the 1st of the month. See web order form for monthly billing details.

Step 4: If you choose any of the customization options below, someone will get in touch with you to review your selections and discuss the work to be completed. We want to make sure that the customization options selected meet your needs and maximize your investment.

Step 5: We will notify you when the customizations are complete, if you request any of the services below. If you are making the customizations, you will notify us when the customization are complete. Either way, you will review the site before final approval.

Step 6: Once the site has been approved by you, we will work with ActionCOACH IT to change the DNS settings to point your website address to the proper server.

When the site setup complete, the next step is to begin customizing the system for your business. In this step, we will provide the following:

• Customize the primary and secondary navigation (menus) to reflect the content you want to present on your site.

• Customize the homepage content to reflect your business. This is limited to incorporating content that you provide, without altering the website design. Website design changes would incur additional charges.

• Modify/Add content on the interior pages as needed with content you provide. The pricing includes up to 10 pages. Each additional page will incur a charge of $15/page.

If you plan on using the blog feature of the site, it will be important to ensure the blog is setup properly. We will:

Initial Training Session: Up to 2 hours - Conduct a full review of the system and the various plugins. This serves as an introduction and provides the information needed for you to begin using the system. You won’t remember everything, so that is why we include a follow-up session.
