1. Eat ice cream for dinner. Because it’s a fun laid-back treat (and
an awesome vacation tradition) you just can’t justify after Labor Day. Fancy something other than a scoop? Try one of these ice cream pies.
2. Cover your driveway in sidewalk chalk.
There’s more than one way to color outside (like ice chalk, chalk paint, and even exploding chalk), so turn this afternoon activity into an all-day event.
3. Plan a family photo shoot. Ask a pal to take some nice snaps of
your entire crew in the summertime glow. Pose for traditional shots but mix in a few while you play a game or read a book for some precious candid mo-ments.
4. Take the kids on a scavenger hunt. Thanks to Pinterest, this boredom-
buster requires virtually no prep at all.
5. Host family game night. Pass GO and collect $200 before
homework takes over your evenings again.
6. Actually go get that amazing burger/hike that pretty trail/visit that sculpture garden.
Summer is meant for impromptu adventures to the restaurant, park, or site everyone’s been talking about.
7. Go on a picnic. Even if it’s just in your backyard. The
days on which is this is doable (and practical) are numbered.
8. Make guacamole. Hello! Summertime staple!
9. Have a water fight. These DIY water toys have soaking
power but will minimize bumps and

Advantages of Fiber InternetThe internet can simplify so many
actions in life. We can search for jobs, telecommute for work, school and homework, video chat with friends and family, pay bills, shop, play games, photo and video sharing, and so much more. The internet is becoming essential in our daily lives and optimal speed and reliability are a must.
With so much depending on access to the internet, it’s worth considering fiber optic internet. Have you ever wasted time waiting for websites to load, videos to buf-fer, or the content you need “right now” just won’t load? With fiber optic internet, experience the fastest broadband available, literally moving at the speed of light.
There are several advantages to fiber optic internet that most don’t realize can affect your experience on the internet.
Speed & BandwidthResearch by Sandisk indicates that slow
internet connections cost employees “one week per year of productivity.” That means
missed deadlines at work, the kids won’t get their homework done quickly, you can’t load the Pinterest recipe for dinner, and Netflix? Forget about it.
Fiber-optic internet is faster than copper or DSL internet options. Optimal inter-net speeds range from 50 Megabits per second (Mbps) to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps) and with higher speeds, you can forget what it’s like to wait for pages to load, share larger files faster, talk and game glitch-free, stream on multiple devices without buffering or delays, all at the same time. With these large requirements, it’s important to find a company who will pro-vide a high or unlimited data cap that al-lows for maximum bandwidth and speed.
Have you been in an area where Ins-tagram won’t load because there are too many people trying to use the internet?
That feeling won’t happen with fiber internet — get a better connection to your feeds and stream BEEtv for hours on end.
ReliabilityNot only do speed and bandwidth mat-
ter most when considering fiber internet, but also reliability. You want a dependable internet connection when working from
home or taking the latest online Buzzfeed quiz. Reliability is also a factor when home devices are connected to the internet including video security systems, cloud back-up and recovery, home automation and more.
Alternative internet options such as
Business owners: you need your own retirement plan
As a business owner, you can’t afford to
ignore your competition. You can’t afford to miss out on the trends affect-ing your industry. You can’t afford to alienate customers. And here’s one more item to add to the list: You can’t afford not to create a retirement plan for yourself.
Of course, you might think that, one day, you’ll simply sell your business and live off the proceeds. But selling a busi-ness isn’t always simple, and there’s no guarantee you’ll receive enough to pay for a comfortable retirement – which is why you should strongly consider creating a retirement plan now.
Here are some of the most widely used plans:
• SEP-IRA: You can contribute up to 25 percent of your compensation — as much as $56,000 in 2019 — to a SEP-IRA.

Your contributions are tax deductible and your earnings grow tax-deferred until withdrawn. This plan offers you signifi-cant flexibility in making contributions for yourself and your employees. Plus, as an employer, you can generally deduct, as business expenses, any contributions you make on behalf of your plan participants.
• SIMPLE IRA: In 2019, you can put in up to $13,000 — or $16,000 if you’re 50 or older — to a SIMPLE IRA. As is the case with the SEP-IRA, your earnings grow tax deferred. You can match your employees’ contributions dollar for dollar, up to 3 percent of compensation. If you work for yourself, you can combine employee and employer contributions, so if you use the 3 percent matching rule, and you earn
enough to fully match employee contribu-tions, you can put in up to $26,000 per year (or $32,000 if you’re 50 or older). Al-ternatively, you could contribute 2 percent of each eligible employee’s compensation each year, up to a maximum of $5,600, regardless of whether the employee con-tributes. Contributions to your employees are tax deductible.
• “Owner-only” 401(k) plan: If you have no employees other than your spouse, you can establish an “owner-only” 401(k) plan, which functions similarly to a 401(k) plan offered by a large employer. Between salary deferral and profit sharing, you can contribute up to $56,000, in pre-tax dol-lars, to your owner-only 401(k), or $62,000 if you’re 50 or older. Like a SEP-IRA and SIMPLE IRA, a 401(k) provides the poten-tial to accumulate tax-deferred earnings. However, you could choose to open a Roth 401(k), which can be funded with after-tax dollars. With a Roth 401(k), your earnings can grow tax-free, provided you’ve had
your account at least five years and you don’t start taking withdrawals until you’re at least 59½.
Which plan is right for you? The answer depends on several factors, such as whether you have any employees and how much money you can contribute each year. But all the plans mentioned above are generally easy to establish, and the admin-istrative costs are usually minimal. Most important, any one of them can help you build some of the resources you’ll need to enjoy the retirement lifestyle you’ve envisioned. To select an appropriate plan, you may want to consult with your tax and financial advisors.
In any case, don’t wait too long. Time goes by quickly, and when you reach that day when you’re a “former” business owner, you’ll want to be prepared.

Healthcare pricing can be confusing, and if you don’t have insurance, it can be daunting. We’re helping simplify things by offering Pre-Pay Pricing for Imaging Services -- a plan designed for those who don’t have insurance or those with high deductibles.
How does it work?If you need an imaging service – like an X-Ray, CT, Mammogram or MRI – call 435-843-3856 before you receive that service. We can provide a quote for the bundled cost associated with that service if you pre-pay the total (not involving insurance programs). We can also give an estimate of out of pocket expenses if you use your insurance. That way you can decide what’s best for you.
Pre-Pay Pricing can be a less expensive solution, with less money out of your pocket.
Call 435-843-3856 for Pre-Pay Pricing.
Getting an X-Ray, MRI,
Mammogram or CT?
Some Pre-Pay Pricing Examples:• Chest X-Ray as Low as $98• Head CT Scan as Low as $300• Lower Back MRI Scan as Low as $472
Pre-Pay quotes include hospital and Radiologist reading charges. Patients must pay prior to the procedure to be eligible for Pre-Pay Pricing. Otherwise, patients are liable for costs not covered by insurance or the full price of the service. The registration department can process payments for procedures after hours. Credit cards, cash and some personal checks accepted.

10. Start and finish a puzzle. Let a challenging thousand-piecer take
over your dining table for a few days. It’s a great ongoing activity for rainy afternoons (or any other “I’m bored!” moments).
11. Help out your favorite cause. Whether you raise a few dollars with a
lemonade stand or volunteer in person, teach your kids that their free time is well-spent helping people in need. We suggest joining the fight against childhood hunger by supporting No Kind Hungry, an orga-nization Good Housekeeping has teamed up with this year.
12. Make s’mores. If you’re uncomfortable with an open
flame, there’s no shame in making the microwave version of this fan-favorite dessert.
13. Seek out live outdoor music. Many towns offer free shows in parks
during the summer months — find the schedule you sorta remember glancing at in June so you don’t miss the last perfor-mance.
14. Tie-dye T-shirts.This is an outdoor-only activity for sure,
so quench your kids’ thirst for hand-dyed
clothing now.
Bonus: Hire a babysitter. The school year means extra stress for
you, too, so don’t forget to plan your own summer me-time (even if that’s just a Net-flix marathon at a friend’s house) before September hits.

DSL or Wireless are not as dependable. Weather conditions can damage copper cabling and cause interference or stall data transmissions. Fiber internet is not affected by weather conditions and does not degrade.
There is so much hustle and bustle in our lives that sometimes it’s nice to experi-ence stress-free services that keep your
internet-filled life worry-free. Choose an internet service provider that gives their customers the best care possible so you can experience the speed, bandwidth and reliability from the internet that you deserve.
