City Harvest Passover Food Drive Thank you to everyone who donated to this year’s City Harvest Passover
drive. We collected approximately 6oo pounds of Chametz and Kosher
for Passover food to be donated to hungry New Yorkers.
Over the course of Yom Tov many of our members, including our CSS volunteers are
away. As a result the driveway door will be locked. Please use the Main Entrance to

meetings we will create a dialogue between Jewish texts and participants’ own clinical and personal perspectives and experiences.
Topics will include dreams, anxiety, and the role of listening in the therapeutic process. The beit midrash will be led by Dr. Seth

Porat Yosef (E. 243 Frisch Court). Featured speaker, Cheryl Mandel, will speak about her son, Lt. Daniel Mandel, Z”L, who was
killed in battle at age 24, while leading his unit into Shechem to capture wanted terrorists. Let us come together to hear Daniel's

EZRA SCHWARTZ MEMORIAL LOOKOUT FUND: It is the desire of the family of Ezra Schwartz, z"l, the 18.y.o. boy who
was murdered recently in Israel, to build a memorial lookout for Ezra on the Boys' Promenade in Gush Etzion, near where he was
murdered. The promenade and lookout are being built to improve the lives of the residents of Gush Etzion, who have seen too
much terror in recent years. Donations to the fund can be made at http://support.jnf.org/site/TR/MemorialTribute/SecurePages?

HEBREW HOME: L’DOR V’DOR INTERNSHIP: This four week program provides students with an opportunity to work
with our residents and develop meaningful relationships with them. In addition, our interns will learn about Jewish values and
attitudes towards aging and the elderly. Participants must be 15 years or older. The program runs from Tuesday, 7/5/2016 to
Friday 7/29/2016, Monday through Friday, 9:15am - 4:45pm. Interns must commit to volunteering for 20 hours during the
subsequent school year. There is a $500 stipend upon completion of the internship. To apply, email [email protected]
