Hello to all,

As the season of summer quickly approaches, we are happy to report to you on all the many happenings at McLean!

Our next Family Council meeting will be Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Abernethy Private Dining Room. We are trying a Saturday morning time in an attempt to reach those family members who might have busy weekday schedules. We hope that you can make it! We always look forward to any and all feedback.

On Monday evening, the 12th of June, we are sponsoring a panel discussion on Alzheimer’s Disease with experts from the State of CT Alzheimer’s Association. This will be held in our Koopman Room at 6:00 p.m.; a light dinner will be served. Reservations are required, since there is limited seating. Please call 860-658-3723. We are delighted to offer this educational program, knowing full well how wide reaching this disease is to many in our McLean family.

June also means it is time for our annual Resident and Family Satisfaction Survey. Soon you will be receiving information in the mail on how to participate. We thank you in advance for your feedback, which we look forward to sharing with all.

Please keep an eye open for information about our annual Resident/Family Summer Picnics! What could be better than grilled food served outside on a lovely summer evening?!
