Opinion

Periodically I need to atone for my sins. This is more explanation than apology.

I’m looking at the same news you are.

I see no value in you duplicating the search for quality news sources – I’d like to

think I save you a good bit of time.

I am looking for relationships – between individuals, groups, corporations and

foreign countries.

I am looking for trends – where one individual, group, business or foreign country

has repeatedly done illegal, unethical or criminal things… things which violate our

American Values and Constitution.

I don’t much like “outlaws, cattle rustlers and claim jumpers”.

During my 30-year medical practice I did my best to adhere to the highest medical

standards. I gave away hundreds of thousands of dollars of “levels of care”. I

probably will not be rich & famous (which is fine). On the other hand, I am outraged

by unscrupulous government workers who lie, cheat & steal. Bound by the Public

Trust, they look you in the eye and lie, they steal your money, they embarrass us in

the global community, and are permitted to retire on enormous compensation

packages at our expense after just 4 years! This is not right!

If the politicians in question don’t like the news and hence my newsletter, let them

change Main Stream Media to make it read “right”. Until then, I continue…

My experience at the Air Force Academy profoundly increased my vision of the

United States, its Armed Services and the world.

Indeed, I am biased to some extent in favor of conservative ideals. Retirement has

its privileges: to engage in meetings, lectures, conversations, testimony,

Constitutional studies and reading… all kinds.

Politicians that are on my “Bad List” are there for a reason.

Over the years, I have become a pretty good judge of human character.

I apologize for occasionally painting with a broad brush – there really are some

honest politicians in the field. I salute them.

I, however, feel no political pressure to pervert what I think is true since I am not,

and will not, run for public office. I get no money for the things I say - therefore I’m

not a lobbyist.

I do share some risk that the “Milwaukee Police” will visit me some night, haul me

off for indefinite detention, without formal charges and without habeas corpus.

You’ll have to come bail me out.

My professional career is over but I am seeking ways to use

what I have learned about birth, death, health, people,

beauty, and life – to preserve and restore this wonderful

American Experiment the Good Lord has given all of us.

The 2016 Elections will be on us faster than you think. Do

your homework – with my help, of course. Facts are vital

and I can’t get them out fast enough. Join me. Help me by

Written between October 1787 and August 1788, The Federalist Papers is a

collection of newspaper essays written in defense of the Constitution. Writing under

the penname Publius, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay explain

the merits of the proposed Constitution, while confronting objections raised by its

opponents. Thomas Jefferson described the work as “the best commentary on the

principles of government, which ever was written.” This course will explore major

themes of The Federalist Papers, such as the problem of majority faction,

separation of powers, and the three branches of government.

The American Founders recognized the central importance of education for the

inculcation of the kind of knowledge and character that is essential to the

maintenance of free government. For example, the Northwest Ordinance of 1787

the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be

encouraged.” This course will consider the older understanding of the purpose of

education, the more recent Progressive approach that has become dominant today,

and some essential elements of K-12 education.
