Class Description & Supply

TRAPUNTO — Learn the easiest method for trapunto (raised quilting). A very showy quilting technique. $35 Sup-

plies needed are; fabric marker, fabric, thread, blunt nose scissors, small pins, plus sewing supplies mentioned on pg.3.

Edge to Edge — Quilt your entire quilt on your Embroidery Machine and have it look like it was done on a

longarm. $45 Supplies needed; Scissors, long staple thread such as Mettler or Aurifil, pattern, fabric marker, chalk,

your largest hoop and accessories.

Basic Sewing - You will learn to read a pattern, fabric layout, needles, threads, etc. $45

3. Creative Sewing (3 , 5 , 7 & 8 Series) - Decorative stitches and threads, applique, couching memory

4. Embroidery I (5 , 7, & 8 Series) - Tools and functions of embroidery

5. EmbroideryII (5 , 7, & 8 Series) - Hooping, placement design layout, on screen editing

6. BSR (5 , 7, & 8 Series) Learn to use your BSR for free motion sewing & quilting

Sewing Machine Mastery Class Cost:

Free to all who have purchased their machine at Berni-

na Sewing Center in Pahrump

$50 per session if machine was purchases elsewhere (class fee refunded if any Bernina machine is pur-

chased from us within a month of the last class)

Class #3 has a $5 Class Fee for kit.

What To Bring to Mastery Class

ALL machine accessories such as: Presser feet, power cord, free hand system, portable table and machine book. Basic Sewing supplies: Scissors, pins, wash away marking pencils, 6” ruler, thread several colors, different wts of ma-terial. Embroidery Class #4 & #5 you will also need em-broidery module, hoops, grids, stabilizers, spray adhesives

and embroidery thread, embroidery foot, and power cord.

Computer & Software Classes Basic Computer Class—Learn how to open files, save files, short cuts to make you comfortable with your computer . If

none of this is want you need please let us know and we will accommodate your needs. Cost: $25 per class

Bernina Software Version 8 (prerequisite: Basic Computer Skills) - Lettering, design editing, special tools project layout,

color changes, design format Cost: Free if software purchased from us if not each class would be $25.

Serger Mastery I—Basics. 4-Thread Overlock. Threading, tensions, 4-thread seams and care

What to Bring to Serger Classes

Different weights of fabrics, four spools of thread (red, blue, yellow & green), scissors, and pen to write on fabric

permanently like a fine point felt tip marker.

Beginning, Intermediate & Advance Quilt classes if fabric for project was bought from us the cost is $5 a week, if

not the cost will be $10 a week.
