What is HD-SDI ?

HDcctv is a video system for transmitting uncompressed, high definition, digital video signals, over coaxial cable lines. These standards have been defined by the HDcctv alliance using the SMPTE HD-SDI protocol which digitally transmits 720p or 1080p video.

HD-SDI is short for High Definition Serial Digital Interface that were derived from SDI foundational technologies which were developed for the professional HDTV market and widely deployed and defined to be world standard protocol. So the HD-SDI transmission will be only and best way to deliver HD quality image without any loss.

It produces clear picture quality by supporting the better resolution than IPcamera. HD-SDI solution provides about 6 times larger than the size of SD-CCTV.

Easy Integration and Upgrade

ReliablitySurveillance cameras can be installed both indoor and outdoor. So minimizing performance degradation of camera is required under the environment where camera is exposed to high temperature. The power consumption of HD-SDI camera very low compare to IP camera because it does not needs H.264 compression or IP network feature. And this will contribute to secure the reliability of camera.

HDcctv can be just upgrade by using previous coaxial cable. HDcctv system, analog CCTV system and also IP CCTV system can be easy integrated because it running on same platform under Maxsecure CCTV series.

Plug and PlayHDcctv is relatively easy to handle when it compared with IP system which has product compatibility issue and difficult network configuration. No complicated network setting. Just plug in like conventional analog CCTV System.

As this table demonstrates, HD-CCTV is the best way to get full HDcctv footage over standard co-ax cable without any issues of latency or compressed images.

HD Real TimeHD-SDI transmits video as digital data without compression, you can get the best video image without any quality degradation, and furthermore because there is no latency,you can control PTZ with real-time from control center.
