HAZ Marble, since 1978 with an experience of more than 5.000.000 M2 natural stone installation work reference, is one of the biggest natural stone design and installa-tion companies in the industry.

HAZ Marble is a specialist natural stone sub – contractor operating in all aspects of natural stone works and has successfully completed more than 600 projects in over 40 countries.

HISTORY

HAZ Marble was founded in 1978 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The activities in the field of natural stone installation have commenced in the beginning of 1980’s.

HAZ Mermer A.Ş. has been established in 1988 in Turkey, followed with branches in England, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar and Russia.

HAZ Group started investing in production after 1991. The production of natural stone,

TECHNICAL CAPACITY

HAZ Marble has the technical capacity to serve any size of job through its built-in home design and manufacturing facilities.

Design, shop drawing, cutting sheets: HAZ Marble through its design office, produces its own shop drawings, cutting lists and cutting sheets.

Supply of stone: HAZ Marble has the means in manufacturing stone and of sourc-ing any material either from quarries and or from main suppliers world wide.

Design and manufacturing of fixing systems: Haz Marble offers full design and engineering services for fixing systems.

Installation of wall cladding and floor Paving: HAZ Marble has direct employee of 500-600 fixers available to mobilize for any Project within 4-6 weeks.

METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION

“Natural building stone is chosen as building’s cladding material because of its beauty, low maintenance and resistance to the effects of weather.”

However, unless good judgment is exer-cised in the choice of the particular stone, the method of attachment, and the installa-tion procedure, the benefits of a properly executed stone cladding can be lost. Instal-lation design and techniques that fail to recognize the capabilities and limitations of the stone it self and that do not accommo-date the forces at work on the stone, can result in the failure of this cladding material to function properly.

HAZ Marble has been implementing up-to-date installation technology in the market since 1980 s, and follows up the improve-ments and developments in the industry.

HAZ Marble uses DIN, BS & ASTM stan-dards in natural stone installation works.

DESIGN SERVICE

Application of natural stone on projects requires a team of specialized architects and civil engineers. HAZ Marble has a tech-nical staff to provide this service.

Architectural drawings are used to design the natural stone installation for the internal and external walls of the building. Suitable thickness and sizes of panels are deter-mined according to the specifications of the project.

After Natural Stone design has been made details of fixing systems for the installation of the panels are prepared. In this process, the points on walls for anchoring and the drilled holes on the panels are determined.

Shop drawings are prepared showing every detail of the natural stone installation area in order to organize the installation works.

NATURAL STONE

Natural stone has been the first choice of architects and engineers in building construction throughout the history.

Although very hard to produce, stone is always preferred due to its unique aesthetic and functional qualities that largely satisfy the necessities in building construction.Stone is a physically strong and durable material, and performs well under compres-sive forces.

· It has a much longer life span,· Requires very little maintenance other than cleaning. · It provides a good insulation and ideal protection against climatic conditions. (Due to its low heat transfer factor)

Hence it is regarded as an ideal building material for exteriors as well as interiors.
