ELOA – UNIQUE LIGHTS
Light objects float weightlessly in space. Fragile, iridescent, timeless. Solitary, or in constellation, ELOA lamps create individual light concepts that remind us of star constella-tions. Hence the objects‘ names.
ELOA combines the craft of ancient glassblowing with a simple, yet distinct design. To achieve the large size of the glass objects while working without forms requires a high level of refined craftsmanship and skill, which can only be performed by a few master glassblowers in Bohemia.These objects exist as hanging, floor, standing, and wall luminaries.
ELOA was founded in 2015 by the Swiss designer Simone Lüling, who is based in Berlin. Simone Lüling designs and coordinates the objects with the vision of combining simplicity and high-quality artisanship.
HAUMEA
Haumea is an elliptical asteroid with a crystalline surface. ELOAs HAUMEA is topped with the clear brilliance of crystal. This brilliance then blends down softly into gradients of milky color, which can seem wonderfully polar or soothingly warm depending on its orientation within your gaze. Its shape is quiet, balanced, peaceful, and harmonious, helping it to become one with the room while grounding the space. The integrity of the blown glass gives it the flexibility of looking beautiful anywhere, whether used as a table piece or as a ceiling lamp.

DWARF PLANET

As the middle of the Scorpion-constellation‘s forehead, DSCHUBBA radiates from its glowing center of life and light. DSCHUBBA is the glass-born materialization of drifting soap bubbles or of shimmering air bubbles dancing in the sea; and may even call to mind the idea of speech balloons hanging in space, filled with wonderful words. They give us a soothing atmosphere to float and dream in, helping us to feel lighter and calmer as they harmonize the room. DSCHUBBA is a fascinating and poetic light sculpture, whether as pure crystal or in any of the iridescent colors in which it is available.

IZAR
As one of the brightest double stars in its constellation, IZAR encapsulates the vibrant yet tranquil movement of the world around us. With its cloud-like shape and its saturated coloring, this hand-blown piece can be placed on a table, shelf, or floor for a unique and irreplaceable accent. SUPERNOVA is a rare and magical visual phenomenon that manifests itself as a quick brightness. Exploding stars are the cause of this beauty in nature – and at ELOA. SUPERNOVA was developed after a lucky accident led to the falling of a glass globe. Once the cracks were cut off, new opportunities and functionalities were discovered. SUPERNOVA is a collection of vases and bowls that, though they don‘t shine themselves, none the less add sparkle to the environment around them. They are organically shaped vessels of different sizes and forms that offer multiple opportunities for poetic harmony.
CORAL CRYSTAL
MAKEMAKE
MAKEMAKE is reminiscent of Jupiter‘s ring. It was designed with the double functionality of being a vase and a fruit bowl. In use, the majestic and artistic form is enhanced by the inserted flowers or fruit. The crater-like indentations give the blown glass a presence that dazzles the eye.
