Children’s Ministry May News to YOU!
Announcing Operation Arctic VBS—June 26-30
Beyond thrilling! Exciting to explore! Breathtakingly beautiful! Full of treasure! Words that describe the Arctic for sure, a fas-cinating region like no other in the world. These words can also describe the coolest book on the planet—the Bible. It is mind-blowing to think that the God who made the universe wrote us a book-the Bible. Get ready for the thrill of exploring the one-of-a-kind treasure as we build on the following BIBLE acronym:
B—Book of Books—The first day, we’ll discover there’s just no book like it, unique in so many ways.
I—Incredible Impact—The second day, we’ll explore the impact the Bible’s teachings have had upon our world!
B—Bedrock Base—The third day, we’ll see there’s no shifting sand here—we’ve got the Rock of God’s Word to base our lives on.
L—Letter of Love—The fourth day, we’ll encounter the best love letter ever, written to us by God Himself!
E—Exciting to Explore—The fifth day, we’ll be challenged to learn it, love it, and live it!
15
In this day and age, it’s vital that we teach our children that the Bible is more than just a dusty book of stories. At Operation Arctic, we will connect God’s Word to every area of our lives and learn that the Bible is just as relevant today as it was thou-sands of years ago. Kids will receive the amazing message of sal-vation through repentance and faith in Jesus!
Our day will begin at 9:00 and end at noon. Students and staff may register online anytime by visiting gccinoverbrook.com and clicking on the event page.
VBS MEETING All those interested in serving as staff at Operation Arctic please plan on attending a staff meeting on Tuesday, June 20th at 6PM
**All May and June offerings collected during Sunday School will be used for VBS and or program.
