We’re Doing it Again This Year! A pre-fundraiser for the “Holiday Collections” Craft/
Vendor Show will be held at the Crooked Pint (3340 13th
Ave. S.) in Fargo (the former Green Mill) for the
December 7 Craft Show. This event takes place
Monday, Nov. 18 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The
Crooked Pint has agreed to donate 15% of your total
check (does not include tax or tip) back to the Craft
Show. You must present the voucher that is printed in
your Oct. newsletter. It will also be in the Oct.
bulletins & Nov. 3, 10 & 17 Bulletins. Vouchers will also
be available at the church office. No vouchers will be
handed out at the event. This 15% includes any food
and beverage items (even adult beverages). Vouchers
are good for dine-in only & one voucher per check
please. At the end of the evening, Crooked Pint will
add up the total sales accompanied by the vouchers. If
you and your family, friends or co-workers eat out
occasionally, make Monday, Nov. 18 that day! Hope to
see you there to support our “Holiday Collections”
fundraising event. Proceeds from the Craft Show on
Dec. 7 go to the Daily Bread Program & the “Last Brick”
building campaign.
Thanksgiving Baskets Holy Cross is going to be packing Thanksgiving Food Baskets for needy families. In order to make this project a success, we need your help.
In each basket, we would like to pack enough food to last a family for about 1 week.
Below are some suggestions of food items: canned fruits, soup, canned vegetables, cereal, Hamburger Helper, macaroni & cheese, Rice-a-Roni, drink mixes, pasta, snacks/crackers, and canned meats.
Household cleaning supplies and laundry detergents are also needed.
Please bring the food items to the church by Sunday, November 17th. If your family would like to make a monetary donation instead, please mark the envelope and place it in the collection basket. We can use those funds to complete the food baskets with a gift certificate to buy perishable items.
If you have any questions, regarding this project, please contact Linda Schroeder at 282-3097 or Penne in the church office at 282-7217.
Thanksgiving Food Baskets & Giving Tree The holidays can be very stressful and challenging for many families. Holy Cross would like to try and bring a little ‘Christmas Cheer’ to as many in need as possible. If you know an individual or family who is struggling financially this holiday season and would be in need of a Thanksgiving Food Basket or a Christmas gift, please call Penne in the church office at 282-7217. All names will be kept confidential. The deadline for names will be Friday, November 1st. For the gifts, it helps us to know the age(s), and a gift idea for each person. Sizes for clothing are also needed.
Holy Cross does not get names from the Fargo Clearing Bureau for the Giving Tree. We use Holy Cross families. We will again have individuals from the Holy Cross Mission Trip orphanage listed on the giving tree.

Holy Cross Catholic Daughter Court #2718- West Fargo, ND
In 2019, Spiritual Battle has intensified with the forces of evil becoming even more extreme in their positions against Life from conception to birth to natural death and the Sanctity of Marriage and Family. These forces manifest a radical rebellion against God’s creation of man and woman into which they seek to indoctrinate even our children. While they call for acceptance of their positions, they are openly hostile against and completely intolerant of biblically based Christian beliefs and practices; in essence,
against anyone who does not share their radical and unholy beliefs. It is in this environment that a Call to Spiritual Arms is being issued again and with even greater urgency to prayer warriors across the country and the world.
The 2019 Rosary Coast to Coast will take place on Sunday, October 13th, the 102ndanniversary of the Fatima Miracle of the Sun. The Rosary will be said at Holy Cross at 3:00. All are welcome to pray with us. A reception will follow.
Rosary Coast to Coast will be anchored by the 4thannual National Rosary Rally in front of the US Capitol in Washington DC. We will pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary simultaneously with others around the world.
Our international partners in the New Holy League of Nations are joining the US in organizing their Rosary rallies on that day; establishing October 13th, 2019 as a powerful worldwide day of public prayer.

Are you or someone you care about unable to attend Mass and receive Holy Communion?
There are several communion distributors who will bring the Lord to you. The need could be temporary or ongoing. Call the church and let us know. We will contact you to determine what time would be good for us to visit with communion.
Eucharistic Adoration is every Monday from 9am to 8pm. If you are interested in becoming a scheduled adorer, one hour per week, call the parish office for more information.
