Position: PRINCIPAL – Strategy & Organizational Development practice
LOGIC Management Consulting is a key regional player in management consulting and management services in the
Middle East & Africa regions. Established in 1998, our goal was clear: to bridge the gap between the developing
management society in the Middle East and its counterpart in the west.
Typically, a Principal manages a team of 3 (Senior Consultants, Consultants & Business Analysts) and 2-4 concurrent
key projects. S/he is accountable for revenue, profits and cash targets. Accordingly, am responsible for:
Business Development: Leads generation, scoping, proposal writing, negotiation and closure.
Project Management: Time, budget, cash, risk & scope management ensuring clients’ satisfaction.
Team Management: Manpower planning, recruitment, coaching, training & motivating the team.
Corporate Building: Knowledge transfer, and managing corporate initiatives.
My technical main role is to analyse the main drivers and behaviour across different industries in order to come up
with a strategy well founded and formulated yet implemented with the BSC for our clients throughout the market
scanning methodologies, designing and planning for strategy and being as business advisory partner to our clients.
Selected Projects/ Initiatives:
Managed a strategy assignments using Balanced Scorecards for a variety of key companies in the field of agriculture-
electrometer – power supply – FMCG and many others:
Analysed thoroughly the companies KPIs and As-Is processes
Benchmarking against other market leaders using multiple research techniques
Facilitated multiple workshops with board and management teams to design the company new performance
management system.
Communicated the new system requirements to the business intelligence software vendor.
Managed the reduction of the cost of finance for a leading Technology Solutions Company using Six Sigma (DMAIC)
by 30%:
Mapped the process and analysed many attributes to uncover sources of variance in the cost of finance
percentage per deal. Used contingency tables and various statistical tests.
Identified the root causes for the high cost of finance (Salesman & deal size).
Developed a tool for calculating the cost of finance before signing the deal, and linked the cost of finance to
the salesman bonus calculation.
The project reduced the company cost of finance by 30% with no impact on revenue.
Managed the formulation of a Strategic Direction for the leading juice & dairy player in Egypt to quadruple its sales in
5 years:
Designed and applied models to optimize the company returns from introducing new categories, and
penetrating new markets. Developed the business cases for new opportunities.

Developed another model to forecast a 5-years sales plan.
Using multiple analytical tools, facilitated multiple workshops with the Board of Directors and Executives to
align on the formulated corporate strategy and commit to the 5-years plan.
Re-engineered the leading furniture manufacturer in Egypt to boost growth:
Scanned the market and quantitatively identified unfulfilled needs. Analysed sales performance and
identified performance gaps.
Redesigned the sales and marketing strategies, processes, policies and procedures.
Restructured the commercial business unit.
Other than the above mentioned projects, I managed other exciting projects in the construction, food & beverage,
paint & coatings, adhesives, metal processing, real-estate & IT sectors; the scope of which included business planning,
valuation, feasibility studies, operating models, sales & marketing, process improvement, market studies, profitability
improvement, and optimization. Currently, I am managing a Business Transformation assignment for a leading
agriculture company. A business transformation assignment typically includes strategic direction setting,
restructuring, process improvement, capacity building, and corporate governance components.
On the corporate level, I led and managed a range of initiatives. I developed and conducted multiple trainings
(Advanced concepts in business planning, The extraordinary leader, Process Mapping & Improvement and Data
Analysis). Moreover, I initiated and led the “Know & Grow” project to improve LOGIC Knowledge Management
System, and knowledge sharing practices.

Aug 2007 Industrial Modernization Centre (IMC) / Industrial Training Council (ITC)
Position: Business Development Expert
The IMC is a project co-funded by the European Union and Government of Egypt that aims at developing,
modernising, and promoting the international image of Egyptian industries through integrated programmes consisting
of business upgrading, technical assistance and trade development/export promotion by utilising the expertise of
international, local consultants and industry specialists
Managed KEY Accounts with several Ministries: Agriculture, Education …. To develop their Business Plans
with cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry; this required high strategic planning and
ownership of process design.
Managed a 100 Million Pounds fund by the World Bank, to deliver the objectives of raising the skills of
Egyptian construction labour in Upper Egypt. I designed and controlled the process, managed & trained 6
subordinates, assessing their performance and led them to achieve the KPI’s set for the project.
I contracted & tendered more than 25 suppliers for a budget of 12 Million Pounds to operate construction
development in Upper Egypt governorates.
Managed a 25 Million Pounds Awareness Campaign for the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The
16456 Campaign for Unemployment subsidized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry using BPO.
Developed partnerships with relevant business organisations locally and internationally.
Team member in the development of the Annual Work Plan, ensuring alignment with IMC strategy,
agreement on annual targets and inclusion of business development activities in the yearly work plan.
Developed Marketing and other initiatives to promote the IMC services to entrepreneurs,
implementing sales techniques generating 1000 new company to the IMC, leading a team of 3
subordinates.
International in house program manager, providing most industries in Egypt with international experts as per
their needs and doing the GAP analysis and the assessment of their business development path.
Act as a focal person between IMC and other donor funded programs in development & training issues,
responsibilities include but are not limited to: monitor & report achievements, collecting information and keep
a track record for all governmental documentations that will assist in the assessment & suggestion for the
reform of these programs.
Task force member in the CSR committee of the IMC, designing the relevant policy to meet the objectives set
by the top management.

Senior Sales Engineer
60 units sold (villa, town house) with total sales revenue of 90 Million Pounds over a period of 20 months.
This required a high profile of Sales & Presentation skills.
Main coordinator with different engineering trades (structural, Mechanical, and electrical) preparing
construction documents, contracts, and after sales progress reports.
Responsible for market surveillance (positioning, pricing) hence developed the annual business plan and the

up.
