Location and Climate They lived in North and South Dakota, Montana, and Oklahoma. Winter- Winter was very cold with lots of sleet, snow, and blizzards. Summer- Summer was warm, dry, and calm.

There homes were made of…Tepees-made of buffalo hideLodges-tent-shaped brush Women ran the house while the men were usually gone hunting.
Food
They ate buffalo, deer, fruit, vegetables, and berries. They hunted, gathered, and farmed.
Clothing and Tools
Men and boys wore breechcloths and moccasins. Women and girls wore deerskin dresses and boots or moccasins.They made hammers, carvers, knifes, bows, arrows, clubs, and spears out of mainly buffalo.
Religious Beliefs and Communication
They believed in many gods and spirits. Their main god was Heammawiho. Language- AlgonquianWritten Language- unknown
Arts and Crafts
They made quill embroidery, beadwork, pottery, and pipe stone carvings.
