Several researches were done on how
ases of GBV were being reported at
institutions like police.
It was discovered that some survivorswere not reporting cases at police. Reasons; fear, mistrust, it takes long, for
cases to be disposed off in courts of law,
attitude of some police officers, etc

The issue is very important as it has
made the movement of the survivor
easier and simple
It has brought serious tracking of GBV

Forming up the coordinated response centres,
Setting up safe houses for survivors who are deemed fit
to safe guarded.
Putting up awareness programmes, sensitisations
Training programmes for law enforcing officers example
the police officers under VSU.
