DAF #84 – Household Microcredit Program PETITE RIVIERE DE L’ARTIBONITE

--This project is to provide microcredit to the community --Training will be provided and support to help them succeed. --Loans will be provided for renewable periods of 16 weeks --There will be a creation of 25 Micro-Enterprises with 50 people working --It will be managed by Konbit CHANJE PAIDEH and LAVI --The accounts will be opened at COPECPRA (City Bank) --Total Cost is $10,600

--Build supply and staff two nutritional units for 50 families per week --Total Cost $94,000

DAF #96 – Prevention of Cholera DAF Committee

--to provide support for the educational efforts of Rotarians to their communities regarding the Cholera epidemic --The DAF has joined up with District 7020 for $200,000 worth of projects aimed at preventing the spread of Cholera
