Gulliver is also has name suggest quite ‘gullibe’. He tends to believe what people tell him and typically takes everything at face value .he is an honest man and he expects others to be honest .

Voyage to Lilliput In his first adventure Gulliver

displays a moral superiority to petty through tiny Lilliputians who show themselves to be an absurd ,cold hearted ,vengeful and self serving race.

His antithesis in the story representing politicians or government is a midget ,both mentally and morally with normal m

oral person . Voyage to brobdingang In voyage of brobdingang Gulliver

remains the same average moral man .but this time it is not he but they are moral and literal giant.

We see Gulliver flounder as he now plays the hypocrite ,he lies to the king in order to conceal what is deplorable about his native England.
