Who Can Take Admission to Engineering First Year

2. HSC. (Science) Passed

Student

• With subjects PM+C/B/Vocational

• Open Category :

obtained at least 50% in PM+C/B/

Vocational

•Backward Category (MH Candidate)

: obtained at least 45% in PM+C/B/

Vocational

•Obtained score in MHT-CET 2017

(PCM) or JEE (Main) 2017 Paper I

2. *Passed Diploma in Engineering

and Technology OR Passed B.Sc.

Degree from a Recognised University

as defined by UGC

ADMISSION PROCESS

REGISTRATION

• Fill up Online Application Form.

• Take its print out.

• Sign it.

• Go to Facilitation Center (FC) with the print out of form & documents

Document Verification at FC

• Required documents

• Marksheets (SSC,HSC,Diploma, Entrance test)

• College leaving Certificate

• Domicile , Nationality

• For Reserved Category: Caste Cert, Caste Validity Certificate

• Non Creamy Layer for SBC, VJ, NT, OBC

Confirmation at FC

• After document Verification, online application form of Candidate is confirmed at FC for Admission

Display of Provisional Merit List, Submission of Grievances, if any and Display of Final Merit List

Display of Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Round-I

What next after filling online option form?

• Display of provisional Allotment of CAP Round –I ,II & III

• Candidate should take following action:

– Freeze: Candidates accept the offered seat and they do not want to participate in any further rounds of seat allocation. Such Candidates will not be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.

– Float : Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to the academic program of higher preference is offered within the same Institution, they will accept it. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.

– Slide: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any Institution is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.

• Report to ARC after each Round as per Allotment

• After every round candidate needs to report ARC

• At the time of seat acceptance candidate has to pay a DD in favor

of competent authority and produce original documents for

verification (Information will be available on website)

• DD of Rs. 5,000/- for General Category, VJ/DT, NT,SBC/OBC

category candidates

• DD of Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST category candidates

Report to Institute after Rounds

• Candidates should report to respective allotted

Institute and Confirmation of admission by paying

fees and submitting original documents.

• Academic Activities will commence as per

schedule by DTE
