INTRODUCTION A!! CAPS" BO!D" #USTIFIED$The font for the bod! of the paper set to Times New Roman 2 point and justified.

3e$in the paper with statements introducin$ the $eneral area and the reason that thiswor" is important. 1xplain what was important about the particular approach and howthis wor" relates to pre ious wor" in the field.

S(,3headin B)ld" l)we* +ase$It is helpful to brea" the ar$ument into steps b! the use of sub headin$s. In a paper of this len$th, there is little to be $ained from $oin$ to further le els of sub sub headin$.4ith onl! two le els, headin$ numberin$ is not needed.

    Ma* ins /)* Pape*5eft mar$in set to 6.7 cm8 . inches, all others set to 2. cm8 inch.

    Spa+in9in$le space text. #ouble space between para$raphs.

Ta,lesTables should be "ept as simple as possible. :a"e sure that the! are referred to fromthe text (see Table 2). ;mit ertical lines from tables and omit $re! shadin$ and 6#effects from all tables, charts and fi$ures. i$ures should be "ept as simple as possible. i$ures should be used where rele ant, but do not use them unnecessaril!. :a"e sure that the! are referred to in the text andthat the! are not too complicated or lar$e. If !our wor" relies on the presentation of complex $raphics, then the paper can ma"e a point with an extract from a lar$er $raphic. 6# effects are an unnecessar! distraction. No colour since proceedin$s are

printed in blac" and white onl!. It is better to render the rele ant information into asimpler $raphic or chart.

Pie +ha*'s*ie charts are $enerall! unnecessar! as the information can be presented in onesentence of text. If a pie chart has more than can be presented in a sentence of text, itwould be better as a histo$ram.

4is') *a.s and ,a* +ha*'s>isto$rams should be laid out without an external border? the font for text should beset to Times New Roman 2 point. The bars should not be too far apart (this ma! needadjustin$ to reduce the white space between them, althou$h there should be somewhite space). u$hes 2002). If there are two authors,li"e this (Rowlinson and -ashiwa$i 200A). :ore than two authors (9ommer ille, etal. 200A).
