    a. Sharing Song- Its nice to be with you

    b. Introduction and motivation- today we shall have a learning experience through

    a game called, The Boat is Sinking. Remember that we learn if we participate

    actively.

    c. Activity Proper: Game- The Boat is Sinking

    Instructions:

    1.

    Participants form a circle and mill around singing Row, row, row your boat.

    2. One pupil is selected as the IT. When he says the boat is sinking, rescue

    boats for 4. Thosewho cannot form rescue boats of 4 are eliminated.

    3. Play this game for 10 mins. The participants who will not be eliminated will

    be the winners.

    I. Objective: To identify homeroom mates

    II. Directions:

    a.

    Form a circle: (one chair less for a number of persons in the group)

    b. The IT stands at the center. He then points to one in the circle and

    gives any of these words:

    Zipmeans, you give the name of the person to your right.

    Zopmeans give your name and say something about yourself.

    Zapmeans, give the name of the person to your left.

    c. When the IT says zip, zap, zop each one including the IT changes

    seats. The one who cannot get a seat will be the IT again. (Continue

    until told to stop).

    a. How many persons did you come to know?

    What seems to be difficult in this game?

    c. How did you feel being pointed at the respond?

    d. How did you feel when you responded to the speed in securing

    a. Form a circle and sing, Lets join our hands together, to the tune of

    Objective:To develop awareness of oneself and others.

    Instructions:

    a.

    Divide pupils into several groups (15 members in a group) each group

    chooses a leader.

    b.

    For 5 minutes, let pupils think of the following questions:

    If I were an flower, what kind of flowerl would I be? Why?

    c.

    After 5 minutes, pupils share with the group the kind of flower they

    would like themselves to be and why.d. Leader summarizes to the class choices of the group by grouping

    together the chosen flowerand their reasons. Names of those who

    choose such flower will be mentioned.

    To know one another better.

    To validate self-concept with feedback.

    II. Instructions:

    a. Let the children form a circle.

    b.

    Facilitator asks each member of the group to make a list of flattering

    and unflattering names she has been called by her friends on a sheet

    of paper.

    c.

    Collect all lists made and place them at the center of the circle.

    d.

    Ask the participants to react on the listed names.e.

    After all feedbacks are given, the owner of the name validates the

    - To be aware of the importance of following rules and regulations.

    - School life- School rules and regulations (Buzz Session)

    Procedure:

    a. Sharing: Action Song

    b. Introduction and motivation:

    - What are some of the school rules and regulations? Today, we are going to

    discuss about our school rules and regulations. It has been found that many

    of the pupils do not follow them.

    c. Activity Proper:

    Instructions:

    1. Children are divided into 4 groups. Each chooses a leader.

    2. Members of the group sit together and discuss the following problems:

    a. What are the rules and regulations in school that most of us do not

    follow?

    b. What will be the effect of these in our studies?

    c. What can we do to help improve the situations?

    3.

    A recorder of the group will take down ideas shared by the members during

    the buzz session.

    4. The facilitator moves from one group to another to provide guidance when

    needed.

    5. Afte5-10 minutes, the spokesman for each group reports the conclusion of

    the group.

    6. The reports will be copied by the members in their All About Me notebook.

    newspaper/ magazines. This something should represent you as

    yourself 10 years from now.d.

    This activity is done non-verbally.

    Introduction and motivation: Do you have problems pertaining to

    your school and studies? What are some of your problems?

    Instructions:

    Facilitator divides the class into 4 groups.

    Each group selects a leader.

    Facilitator asks each group to read the unfinished story. After reading

    the story, each group will discuss about their feelings if similar

    situations will happen then.

    - Maria is walking home from school clutching a small envelope.

    Her friends called her to join them, but Maria walked alone with

    her head down. She feels sad. She wander what her mother will

    say when she sees it (the ones inside the envelope). She thinks

    how she wont buy me that present, she promised

    Instructions:

    a. Pupils select a good leader to lead the class during the activity.

    b. Pupils form single line facing the leader.

    c. Pupils follow what the leader does (the leader may dance, jump, reach for

    something high etc.)

    d. Any pupil who is found unsuccessful in following the leader will be punish by the

    group and will become the IT again.

    this at the same time doing an action. Everyone follows the action of the IT

    when he says do this.

    d. Children resume singing and moving around.

    e.

    The IT will say again, DO THAT (if common is do that nobody should follow

    the leader).

    f. Pupils caught following the DO THAT action will be penalized by the group and

    become the IT again.

    g. Play this game for 15 minutes, then process the experience.

    - To show openness to new experiences.

    Instructions:

    a. Facilitators calls 4 volunteers for a task but does not disclose what the task is.

    b. When the 4 volunteers were identified, facilitator handles them together

    whispers something secretly and they are told not to return to their sits.

    c. Another 4 volunteers are then called and same procedure is done until more

    than half of the group was volunteered.

    d.

    The game is stopped and then proceed.

    a. What did you think you were to be asked to do when you volunteered?

    behaviours this may contribute toward or destruct the saving of a

    group problem.

    Facilitator divides the class into a group with members each.

    b.

    Facilitator starts the activity with preliminary discussion on the meaningof cooperation. Basic suggestion which the facilitator may want to bring

    out of the groups are as follows:

    Pupils enjoyed the process and were able to realize the value of

    cooperation for the group and other activities.

    WOULD YOU?

    I. Objective:

    -

    To wait for ones turn.

    II.

    Instructions:

    a. Let the children sing a song while forming a circle and moving around.

    b. After the song, the children count from 1-6 pupils with the same number of

    group together.

    c. The groups form their line facing the facilitator.

    d. The facilitator ask the group to face right facing the pile numbers block (1-6)

    placed in a circle 15 feet away from the first number.

    e.

    At signal GO, the first participant in each group runs and picks the first block ofwood in the pile and pile it in the place assigned by the facilitator.

    f. After the runner had placed the block of wood he runs back to his line and

    touched the second participant in his group.

    g. The same procedure is done until the last participant had run. ( No participant

    should run before he was tapped by the runner).

    h. Anyone caught running before he is tapped will be disqualified and he shall be

    asked to stop out the line.

    i. The group who follows Taking turn strictly and has intact members of 6 wins

    the game.

    Objective:- To be loyal to ones group.

    II. Instructions:

    a. Facilitators pick out 2 leaders, one for the boys and one for the girls.

    b. The boys will be the wolves, and the girls will be the chicken.

    c. Wolves and chicken form separate lines.

    d. Each group will hold on tightly by holding the waist of the girl, boy standing

    before her/him.

    e.

    Wolves should also try to capture the chickens and separate them from thechickens.

    f. Chickens should also try to capture separate the wolves.

    g. Those who break away from their groups are bound by the wrist marks traitors

    and thrown into prison.
