This has been a special year for me since I am the Chamber of Commerce president as well as the Co-Captain of The Krewe de la Chambe Royale Ball.
We want to thank Bennett Scott, the Captain of Le Krewe du le Originales et les Enfants, for organizing a fi ne parade. The parade is a great addition to our Mardi Gras celebration and a great alternative to parades in larger cities. We are proud that our Mardi Gras celebration is family friendly.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the board members, chairpersons, co-chair-persons, volunteers and contributors who have made our activities possible. Thank you also to all of those who took part in our fund raisers. Without the generosity and the help of the citizens of Gueydan and the surrounding area The Chamber of Commerce could not grow to promote and serve Gueydan.
We hope that everyone who attended our ball had a great time and we invite you to attend next year. We also invite everyone to take part in Christmas in the Park and Ghosts and Goodies which are other Chamber sponsored activities.
