Issues - Punjab
• More Mini Kits for Rabi Pulses, to fill gap in seed requirement vs seed availability
• Paddy variety PAU-201 Quality improvement is needed
![Page 10: Group I](https://reader035.vdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022062518/5681487e550346895db58893/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Issues - Haryana
• 7 flood affected Districts; farmers are re-sowing the crops; DAP requirement of 4.5 lakh tons may be fully met with.
• Need More number of Machineries Testing and Certification Centres
• Need terminal heat tolerant varieties of wheat• Salinity tolerant varieties of Gram needed• Bt cotton hybrids resistant to leaf curl virus
needed
![Page 11: Group I](https://reader035.vdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022062518/5681487e550346895db58893/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Issues – Himachal Pradesh
• Freight subsidy/reimbursement has been reduced by 30%. It is affecting the fertiliser movement, even though allocations have been made
• Number of calls in Kisan Call Centre have increased manifold – Increase the number of agents to atleast 3 in each shift
![Page 12: Group I](https://reader035.vdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022062518/5681487e550346895db58893/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
Issues – Uttar Pradesh• Fertilizer month-wise arrivals do not match with
month-wise allocation• Subsidy be allowed for old varieties (> 10 years)
like NFSM• Procurement programme should be introduced
for pulses and oilseeds• Varieties insensitive to heat needs to be
developed• Establish Farm machinery Training Centre at
SAMETI, Rahmankhera

Issues – J & K
• Training and Testing Institute for Machinery and Equipments in J&K need to be established in Jammu and Kashmir.
• Funds under Stream I of RKVY are yet to be released by DAC.
