Xavier was born in the French capital city of gastronomy: Lyon. In his early years Xavier enjoyed playing football but he soon developed another passion – for food – and it is then that he decided to make cooking a larger part of his life. A few years later, he graduated from one of the best Cooking Schools in the World, the Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon.

His passion for great cuisine led him to the Aria group before deciding to start his own business; ‘Chef Up!’
