WHO WE ARE

• 1929 Mr. Natalio Orlandini founded a medium size company to manufacture printed tin cans on a small country on the most southern tip of the world

• After surviving all sorts of crisis and a deep financial shortage the third family generation started rebuilding it, based on sustainable development ideas

• 2004 obtains ISO 9001:2000 certification.

• 2005 selected for a pioneer program to adopt CSR on SME´s

• 2008 received SOFOFA national award on CSR for the SME category

REBUILDING ACTIONS

General Manager and his son visited neighbors houses to evaluate structural damages

Social worker contacts employees to be informed of their situation and to know it they would need any assistance.

Back to work early Monday, a general assembly was called to dissipate fears and pull together

Working teams were organized to clean working areas, and spilled raw materials, repair buildings, reestablish electric power .

By noon the factory was operating normally but people was scared and allowed to return home if desired, no one left work.
