GreenUs

The project aims to raise an awareness on and hold meaningful events to deforestation and lowland forest conservation in Southeast Asia.

steps to succeed

1. Publicize the project via social tools.

2. Devise the event such as festival, work shop, study tour, in lowland forests in SEA facing serious issues about deforestation.

3. Create an online campaign

Post any picture of yours (without green color). They can be your selfie with trees or greenfield, or any natural scenes on social media platforms such as facebook, instagram, and twitter. Hashtag them with #GreenUs to become another force to stop deforestation in lowland forests; for now, we’re focusing on Prey Lang forest.

By launching social media outreach project, people get to know more about GreenUS and what we are doing. Issues Pre Lang forest is facing and our upcoming event will be made known throughout the campaign.

Strategies - Money-raising (0.5-0.20 $ for each picture posted)- Celebrities and influential people- Challenge (Tag more people to post picture)

Timeline- 2-3 months prior to the main event or festival

Stakeholders - YSEALI, application developers, web designers, Celebrities, Influential people, youth and urban community, US Embassy in Cambodia, and Existing NGO’s interested in environment.

Expectation• Apart from education, we need to sustain and make sure

participants will keep what they have learnt in mind.• Get motivation and set inspiration for their own future plan.• To understand about being applied the natural resources in
