Duties of Green Prefects

Check the classrooms after school every TWO weeks, starting from 13/9/2010

Help to promote the activities of Green Torch to the class

Remind their classmates to - A) use the recycling bins wisely - B) switch off electrical appliances when they are not in the classroom (e.g. lights/ air-conditioners/fans/projectors etc.)

Share green tips

Lead discussions in the Home Period

Lead the class to set up Green Class Policy in the beginning of the term(The Policy should be posted on the Green Corner.)

Give comments to her class and lead discussions in the class before picnic and Christmas celebration

Peer assessment during Christmas celebration (including Christmas board decoration, food remains from Christmas party and utensils used)

[green perfects should not assess her own form]

Assess the cleanliness of spectator stands of different houses for the Green House Award during the Swimming Gala and Athletic Meet

Maintain Green Corner having Green Class Policy and Green Tips shared by 8 groups of students. Each group presents at least one tip during home period in each month (except Jan, June, July and Aug)
