Public Service Credit Union Awards Local Charity with $500.00

During the holiday season,

PSCU decided to support

a local charity. They cre-

ated a contest on their

facebook page and se-

lected four organizations

(Romulus Goodfellows,

C.H.A.I.N.E.D., Judson

Center & Focus: HOPE)

then asked people to vote

for their favorite charity

and help support the won-

derful work they do. The

contest ran from Novem-

ber 5th through November

19th.

There were almost 500

votes received in the char-

itable giveaway contest,

awesome participation

from everyone! The or-

ganization with the most

votes and the winner of

the contest and $500.00

was C.H.A.I.N.E.D Inc.

C.H.A.I.N.E.D Inc. mission

is to enhance the lives of

24/7 chained/outside

dogs, providing life en-

dors and a host of corporate

support contributed to a fun

night for all.

A big “Thank You!” to Stan

Shelton, J & S Portrait Ameri-

ca Photography and Dave

Gorgon , City of Romulus, for

all the pictures.

As the 2013 Holiday

Part was winding down

and guests were leaving,

one Chamber Member

shook hands with the Ex-

ecutive Director and ex-

claimed “This is one of

the best parties ever put

on by the Chamber!”

Feedback like this is always

appreciated. And as they say,

a picture is worth a thousand

words. Here are a few snap-

shots from the December 5th

Holiday Celebration at the

Romulus Athletic Center. It real-

ly was a great party!

Over 200 guests, 16 food ven-

fenced yards, insulated dog

houses, spay/neuter assistance,

vaccines, flea/tick prevention,

heartworm prevention, food

assistance, treats, toys, love &

most importantly...owner edu-

cation. Correcting the problem

where it originates decreases

the number of homeless & ne-

glected animals. Every dog is

worth saving & this is our way

of saving them!
