Is an animated television series created by Alex Hirsch initially for Disney Channel and later for Disney XD, which premiered in the US on 15 June 2012 In Latin America a preview was shown on September 30, 2012 and officially opened on October 6 of that year, while in Spain it began broadcasting on June 7 to June 2013.

The series tells the story of twin brothers Dipper and Mabel Pines, who spend their summer vacation visiting his Uncle Stan in a cabin in a fictional town called Gravity Falls Oregon, which happens to be surrounded by paranormal and supernatural events. Alex Hirsch created the concept in a pilot episode while studying at the Art Institute of California, which served as the basis for making a pitch to Disney Channel. The plot is inspired by children of the same Hirsch and his sister.

Dipper and Mabel Pines are twin brothers sent by their parents to spend his summer holidays with his uncle Stan in Cabin Mystery, a tourist shop located in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Stan sell fake items on alleged supernatural creatures that live in the village, which bought the visitors, who believe the stories and pay the high prices of products.

Upon arrival, the brothers Pines feel there is something strange about that town, and begin to investigate with the help of a diary wonder Dipper in the forest, which describes creatures and paranormal events.

And as Dipper´s Journal, there are other 2 journal which are owned by Lil Gideon (Diary number 2) and his own uncle, Stan Pines (Diary number 1).
