for my concept i picked up the idea of a puzzle and a constructed type.

the triangles are a result of the development of m

y logo-type. the colors are

limited to the cm

yk-color-model and w

hite was used w

here it was necessary

to increase the contrast. i picked these colors because it‘s a characteristic

of the graphic design jobs. they use the model freq

uently for print-works.

as a typeface for textblocks and copy i‘ve chosen the itc avant garde gothic

std automatically after finishing the a of the logo, w

hich strongly reminded

me of the a in the avantgarde display - type. the idea of the puzzle influences

especially the design of the information - plates used in the exhibition

to put the title of the work and nam

e of the artist on them next to

the exhibits. furthermore the design for m

e has something of a

the website (1600x900px)

the website of the exhibition includes this homepage, with a tag-like navigation for the nine courses. moreover it includes a navigation via thumbnails on the bottom of the page. the logo on the left upper corner, a regular main navigation on top of the page and the magenta-coloured back-button on the right middle of the page always maintain. in the later course of the website-browsing the thumb-nail - navigation is used for the single students of one course. the navigation-points of this thumbnails move up to the yellow a-stroke when a student is indivi-dually introduced. on these pages the students are presented by samples of their works, a portray and a short information-textblock on his/her life and works.

the names (proposal)

this name-plates under the works of the students can also be used as business-cards, that interested visitors can take away as a memory of the exhibition and - in case of talent-scouts - as a reference for later employing calls or castings.
