Types of ProgramsAssociate of Applied Science (AAS)Associate of Applied Science degree programs help you prepare for or advance in a particular occupation or field. Most AAS degrees require 60-70 credits and consist of technical studies, general studies and elec-tives. Complete your degree in as little as two years, or attend part-time to fit your schedule. Some or all credits may be applied toward a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college.

Technical Diploma (TD)Technical Diploma programs help you prepare for a targeted occupation, typically at an entry level. Credit requirements range from 3-70 credits, and many programs offer full- and part-time options. Some credits may be applied to associate of applied science degree programs.

NOTE: In the program number, 10 indicates “Associate Degree,” and 31 or 32 indicates “Technical Diploma.”

Report InformationThe Moraine Park Technical College Employment Services Office surveyed students who graduated in the 2016-17 academic year. The data in this Graduate Follow-Up Report is solely based on the information provided by our graduates and has been aggregated to maintain the confidentiality of the respondents. The number of graduates surveyed reflects students who have completed all requirements in the academic school year.

This report is provided to assist counselors, employers, current and prospective Moraine Park students and graduates, special interest groups and the general public. Also, these results reflect Moraine Park’s commit-ment to its goal to contribute and provide the necessary training for its students to compete successfully in today’s labor market.

Salary information indicated is from respondents employed full-time (35 hours or more per week) in related fields and does not include com-missions, bonuses, company cars, cleaning of uniforms or other forms of compensation that many program graduates may receive in addition to their base wage.

a. Median yearly salary — the middle salary reported in the range of salaries; half of the graduates reported higher salaries and half of the graduates reported lower salaries.

b. Yearly salary range — the actual lowest and highest salaries reported.
