Routines• D.E.A.R – every day the
school does Drop Everything And Read at the same time
• In-door shoes are a MUST. Your child must also have running shoes for gym.
• Uniform – the requirements are in the parent handbook.
• Prayer- all girls need their own scarf for prayer time.
Agenda• Parent-Teacher
Communication is through agendas or email.
• Check each class’s weebly EACH NIGHT.
Tardiness• School starts at 7:50 A.M.
• Running late? Check in at the school office before coming to class. Get a late slip.
• If you are tardy more than 4 times, the school will contact your parents.

English Language Arts• Guided reading- each student reads with a group of
students at their own level. This is done with the teacher.
• Focus on Narrative Writing. – Sequence, punctuation, detail

Resources• We now have a library and a

• Teacher’s Aide – will be working with our students a few times a week.
• Parent Volunteers are always welcome
• WEP – Kelso’s Choices, Super-Flex are taught by Mrs. Monika this year to promote healthy interactions
