The NCC unit of Government Science College is divided in different groups, is under in NCC
group head quarter of Jabalpur. And they are following:-

Following groups are receiving training under the principal and NCC in-charge officer in NCC
headquarter of Jabalpur.

o Training imparted to the cadets on various subjects such as drill, weapons, map reading, Fist-

• Details of NCC Boys units – I/C officer Dr.G.R.K.Sahu
• In our institution Army and Naval NCC units are running for more than last 60 years. At
present three units are running namely 1 MP Signal Coy. NCC with cadets strength 213
Cadets (173 boys and 40 girls cadet).
• In Jabalpur Division our institution has maximum number of cadets, which is more than 300.
• During three years course of NCC, cadets learn various activities according to their
prescribed syllabus, such as drill, weapon training, firing, map reading, first-aid, Health and
Hygiene, Ecology, field craft, Tactics, civil defence, leadership, national integration etc.
Apart from this, following camps are also organized every year– RDC, CATC, NIC, ALC,
AAC, Hiking and Trekking Camp, TSC, VSC, NSC, RCC and YP.
• Cadets must participate in at least one camp per year.
NCC cadets of our Institutions have adopted community development activities with the aim of
imbibing selfless service to the community. The following activities are organized every year by
cadets of our institution Blood donation, Anti dowry Rally, Aids Awareness Rally, Save
Girls Child Rally, Disaster management Relief, Water Conservation Rally, Energy conservation
Rally, Anti drug Rally, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, Yoga day celebration etc.
Special achievement:
• Nirabhra Chaturvedi selected in Indian army as army officer in 2014.
• Under officer Deepak Sahu selected for RDC in 2013.
• Ali Akbar Khan selected for special tracking camp. (Uttarakhand) 2016.

❖ A special camp of 1MPARMD was organized from 10-08-2012 to 21-08-2012 in
which 18 cadets participated. College team won the competition ‘tug of war’ held
during the campus. All the students donated their blood too.
❖ In the duration of July to December 2013, Boys cadets organized various “rallies”
on different burning issues like dowry, energy conservation, aids awareness etc.
❖ Nine cadets participated in CATC-VII camp organized by NCC MP girls
Battalion from 22 -10-2013 to 31-10-2013. Various competitions, such as horse
riding, cross-country race, rifle opening-closing etc. were held in this camp. Ms
Khushbu Sharma (CUO) won a gold medal in rifle opening-closing competition.
Ms. Shibhanjali Soni also won a gold medal in cross-country race. A rally was
also demonstrated on “NCC Day”. A slogan competition was held on ‘gender
equality’.
❖ On 19 and 20th December 2013, National Integration Camp was organized in
Silchar (Guwahati) in which 35 cadets participated.
❖ From 20th August 2014 to 3rd September 2014, Army attachment camp was held
in Sagar, in which 20 students participated.
❖ From 23-07-2015 to 23-07-2015, army attachment camp was organized in Sagar,
in which 33 cadets participated.
❖ Advanced Leadership Camp was held in Ahmadabad from 12 to 23 January 2016,
in which 21 cadets participated.

3.6.1 Extension Activities In The Neighborhood Community
1] Participation in Blood donation camp: Blood donation camps are organized under NCC
Department and no. of cadets are participate on them from 2MP girls BN.
2] Plantation: On the very precious occasion of independence day (15 august 2017) plantation is
done by NCC cadets in the guidance of teaching staff and CTO.
3] CLEANING CAMPAIGN RALLY
Under the period of swacchata pakhwaara ,from 16 September to 30 September , a cleaning rally
was held on 22 September 2017,in which a appreciable work is done by cadets under the
guidance of ANODr. Mrs. Rachna Sancha and in the presence of honourable principle Mr. A.L.
Mahobiya.
4) TRAINING CAMPS
Many training camps are organize by ministry of defence in department of NCC on different
level .Combined annual training camp 04(CATC04) was held from 12/06/17 to 21/06/17 on.
total 15 cadets out of 20 were participated on it, remaining 5 were participated in CATC 11
which was held from 3/09/17 to 12/09/17. Four cadets were selected for inter group competition
camp(IGC). One cadet selected for special camp called Thal Sainik Camp(TSC) in delhi. They
all fully dedicated towards camp and gave as much as they can. Most of the students are
rewarded. They all were very active during camps.

NCC 2MP GIRLS BN:
• 2MP Girls BN established in the year of 1991, aims at the overall personality
development of the cadets. It also enhance awareness towards responsibility,
devotion towards the nation .In the recent 5 years 74 cadets have received “C”
certificate .
• Various events are organize by the institution ,weapon training ,drills ,firing,
national integration program to prepare the cadets for upcoming society and
nation they include:-
• CATC (Combine annual training camp), RCTC (Rock climbing and tracking
camp) trains about rock climbing and obstacle crossing. TSC (Thal sainik
camp),NIC(National integration camp).
• Training imparted to the cadets on various subjects such as drill, weapons, map
reading, first–aid, health and hygiene.it trains the cadets about uses of weapon,
firing and also includes the educational visit , general awareness of the benefits
of NCC, blood donation discussion and poster , presentation for the welfare for
the society.
• Apart from this SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN is also organized for cleaning
the city and surrounding areas. Other events such as general awareness on use of
non-conventional source of energy, also organized so that the message not only
reaches to the cadets but to the society as well.

5. Cadet Nikisha Baghel selected for Best Cadet interview among 35 cadets in CATC 11.
6. Cadet Athira Awarded by best company Senior Award in CATC 04.
7. Cadet Nikisha Baghel, and Cadet Richa Gupta participated in guard mounting
competition from alpha and got first rank.

volleyball competition from alpha company and got second rank.
