Google Tools for the Instructor
• Google offers a suite of free productivity tools for classroom collaboration and course management Google Apps For Education or GAFE)• Many of these can be used in conjunction with your IVS course• Increase efficiency, collaboration and engagement
Google Tools for the Instructor• Remember, IVS is not a Google integrated school – teachers and
students can use the tools, but the Google tools do not automatically connect to D2L.
• Danielle will follow up with more info on what students need to do if they are using Google Docs and submit to Dropbox.
Google Tools for the InstructorIn order to work with Google apps or upload other content into Google, you need a Google Account and Google Drive (your storage area)
www.google.com click sign in. Then select, create accountIf you have a Gmail address, you already have a Google account, so you won't need to create an account—you can simply sign in to Drive using your Gmail information. www.google.com
