Goals for this Evenings Workshop
• Set up a calendar using your Google Gmail account• Explore settings (briefly) and
navigation• Learn how to input
appointments• Learn how to input
repeat appointments
Suggested Settings
• I kept the defaults, though you may wish to change the duration of your appointments (keep in mind you can manually adjust each appointment as needed)
• I also selected my Location and added the Show weather based on my location option
• Display tips - Yes

Let’s look at the Calendar
Creating a New Calendar
Click the down arrow next to My calendars (on the left side of your
screen)
Remember you will always have a default calendar. Adding a calendar gives you an opportunity to keep track of various calendars: sports, kids, work, etc.
Creating an Appointment or Event• Click on a time slot on the calendar (quick and
easy)• Click on the red Create button in the upper left
corner – Click on the button to
open all options– Click on the down
arrow next to the button to use natural language
Create a Repeating Appointment
The repeat optionis great for keeping track ofbirthdays andanniversaries
