DESCRIPTION
Goodwill in Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas are primarily known for their thrift stores. The real reason they exist is to find work for people with barriers to employment. The challenge was to reverse that understanding. The process of developing their brand has given them a new impetus in communication.TRANSCRIPT
Since 1894 Goodwill has provided programs and services to individuals with barriers to
employment in 83 counties throughout Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas.
Thousands of people every year are faced with barriers that prevent them from getting a job. Whether those barriers are financial, mental or physical, employment for some is simply out of reach.

This is not merely a machine, as if treating people like parts to make the

We’ve developed patterns using shapes built from the same proportions as our logo, to communicate connection and building. Our photography focuses on the people; it shows the care they have for their work and the positive impact they have in the community.
