An absolutely fascinating venue overlooking Lake Garda that astonishes the visitors with the variety, eclecticism and originality of thousands of objects, the bow of a cruiser ship nestled in the promontory among the greenery, an anti-submarine motorboat used in a military raid as well as a plane used for his propaganda flight over Vienna.The visit continues to museums exhibiting the poet’s cars, many other precious objects collected by him throughout his life and contemporary works of art inspired by the poet.

Garda Island – Villa CavazzaThe Island owes its charm to the extraordinary Venetian neo-Gothic style villa, designed by architect Luigi Rovelli at the beginning of the 20th century; an imposing harmonious building, rich in astonishing architectural details. Below, the terraces and Italian gardens slope down towards the lake.The surrounding area is full of lush vegetation with a wealth of local, exotic plants, rare essences and unique flowers.

Lonato Castle and Villa del PodestàThe 15 th century seat of the Venetian governmentrepresentative (Podestà), transformed into barracks by the Austrians. In the 20th century it was bought by the Senator Ugo Da Como from Brescia, who entrusted the complete restoration of the building to architect Antonio Tagliaferri, transforming it into a refined, eclectic bourgeois residence: bas-reliefs, carved ceilings, frescoes, furniture, sculptures and numerous objects. In the heart of the dwelling, there is the library that houses over 52,000 books includingmanuscripts, incunabula, cinquecentine, bibliographical andautograph collections.

Brescia City CenterFounded over 3,200 years ago, Brescia (formerly known as Brixia) has been an important regional centre sincepre-Roman times. Its old town contains the best-preserved Roman public buildings in northern Italy as well as numerous monuments, including the Medieval castle, the Old and New cathedrals, the Renaissance Piazza della Loggia and the rationalist Piazza della Vittoria. The monumental archaeolo-gical area of the Roman forum and the monastic complex of San Salvatore-Santa Giulia have become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Siora Veronica 1926 ancient sailing ShipAn ancient sailing ship offering an unforgettable sailing experience in the marvellous setting of Lake Garda. The Siora Veronica sailing ship was christened in 1926 and its excellent current form is the result of painstaking restoration work.

Sirmione – Grotte di CatulloInside the archaeological park, within a vast olive-grove, the building constructed between the end of the 1st century B.C. and the beginning of the 1st century A.D. in an excellentpanoramic location, situated on the extreme tip of the Sirmione peninsula, is the most important example of a high-class Roman villa in northern Italy.Immediately inside the entrance to the archaeological park the Museum can be found, hosting objects brought to light during the excavations carried out inside the villa, and in archaeological works conducted both in Sirmione and other Lake Garda locations.
