• 20 active sites in Arabic, Aymara, Bangla, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Dutch, Greek, French, Indonesian, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Malagasy, Macedonian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish
• Active = at least 15 translations per month per site
• 15 sites in beta stage including Swahili, Farsi, Hungarian, Catalan/Valencia, Albanian, Swedish…
• More translators needed!
Global Voices Lingua Stats
• Nearly 350 active translators in Lingua
• 1350 people who have been volunteers or are sporadic collaborators.
• Plus 80 people who translate from Lingua French, Portugese and Spanish to English
• In total, the over 500 active Global Voices volunteers have translated 10.196 post from Jan to Aug 2011, which makes an average of 1300 posts a month.
