Teaming up
• Create an index of bibliographic references based on the EDIT partner’s taxonomic literature catalogues using mechanismsdeveloped jointly with the BHL-Europe Project.
• Linked to the index of references, provide information on subscribeddigital literature resources available at the partners. Link through to these resources where access is permitted.
• Link freely available digital resources (e.g. BHL) to the index of references.
• Make the search capabilities for the index of references accessibleas (i) a web service and (ii) within a web page (ViTaL web portal).
• Allow users of the index of references to nominate literature itemsfor digitisation.
