These locations are part of Webster University’s distinctive global network of campuses spanning the U.S.A., Europe and Asia. That’s why Webster University’s international studies programs are recognized for excellence by U.S. News & World Report.

“This program is more than a world tour. It is an intensive professional preparation for the challenges and opportunities ahead. Our global MBA students receive a strong business background while becoming comfortable with global citizenry—the keys to becoming a business leader who is globally aware. Other schools will envy it and many will try to imitate it. But our competitive advantage is having our own campuses in every location.”

MICHAEL DOUGLASGlobal MBA, 2009Mike, from Huntington Beach, California, holds bachelor degrees in economics, Spanish and global studies from the University of California at Los Angeles.

I really feel that the Global MBA program has provided me with a competitive advantage for my future, and having this on my résumé has set me apart from other candidates, especially in this tough economy.

Looking Beyond Your Life as a Global MBA Student … By the end of the Global MBA program, you will have developed a job search strategy based on extensive self-assessment and career exploration. So, how do you do all that with a full-time courseload while moving to a different country every nine weeks?

We’ll guide you!

You’ll put together a four-part Professional Development Plan in which you identify the soft skills, or competencies, you believe you need to hone to excel in a chosen career field, and then put together an action plan to make sure you meet your goals.

Using your Professional Development Plan, first you identify the professional competencies and motivations that you want to develop, then you develop a career list that’s right for you.

Part three, you take the career list you developed and turn it into an action-oriented job-search strategy. The final part of the Plan is a log to help you track your job search from first contact.

You’ll stay in touch with a seasoned career coach throughout the Global MBA program. This is done in part with a weekly online Career Journal, which keeps you focused, and allows your coach to track your progress and offer feedback every step of the way.

All of this is supplemented by seminars, networking events and the opportunity to interact with global executives at corporate visits in each location. You’ll also be assigned to an executive who will serve as your individual mentor throughout the program. We want you to succeed!
