Peter Jay Hotez, MD, PhD
Dr. Hotez is Founding Dean of the Na-tional School of Tropical Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital Endowed Chair in Tropical Pediatrics at Baylor Univer-sity, and President of the Sabin Vaccine Institute. His academic research focuses on vaccine development for a wide range of neglected tropical diseases around the globe, as well as studies to increase awareness about the neglected tropical diseases in developing countries and in the United States.
