CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV)
• Solar PV deployment has grown at unprecedented rates since the early 2000s. As the global PV market increases, so will the volume of decommissioned PV panels.
• Given an average panel lifetime of 30 years, large amounts of annual waste are anticipated by the early 2030s and is predicted to be equivalen to 4% of installed PV panels in that year.
• Growing PV panel waste presents a new environmental challenge, but also unprecedented opportunities to create value and pursue new economic avenues. These include recovery of raw material and the emergence of new solar PV endof-life industries.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV)
• Soli Tek R&D has been participating in several H2020 project “CABRISS, Eco-Solar, Circusol, SUPER PV” where these issues have been also addressed. Together with the project partners a possibilities to recycle solar panels, broken solar cells have been demonstrated. Recovered materials (mainly glass, semiconductors, metals) have been successfully re-used again in both: PV manufacturing chain and other industries.

THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
• BRD company is rapidly moving in that direction, creating one of the most modern RX progressive lens laboratory in Europe.
• Our vision is to achieve fully robotized, high-performance production, with integrated IT and artificial intelligence solution in the period of two years.
• The new company's philosophy of modern quality management, today makes its first firm steps, where everything from the supply of raw materials to the client is strictly controlled

SUSTAINABLE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE OPTICAL INDUSTRY (1)
• Modulo Line dramatically improved our optical lab operations.
• With Modulo Line, Schneider brings Industry 4.0/smart manufacturing to the optical industry and enables our business to establish a true industrialized lens manufacturing facility.
• Modulo Line focuses on driving operational efficiency: it lowers the cost per lens by drastically reducing labor as well as the consumption of consumables and parts while improving overall equipment effectiveness.
• The program increases a lab's production quality and speed of delivery, all in a more sustainable, green way. The end result is increased revenue and maximized profitability.

SUSTAINABLE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE OPTICAL INDUSTRY (2)
Lab 4.0 is a continuous improvement program that is based on four pillars.
1. New generation of equipment
2. Comprehensive STEP 4.0 customer support program
3. Intelligent automation
4. Interconnectivity of components
Labs implementing these four pillars can achieve up to 30% faster production throughput, gain up to 25% in efficiency, use far less labor, and become more environmentally friendly.

We believe in long-term sustainability
“In order to become the civilization we are today, humankind always took more from nature than they gave back. Today, this must change. We can not any longer claim ignorance of the adverse effects our actions have had on this planet. From today, we must grow sustainably, minimizing harm to the world we live in.
Global BOD Group is here to play our part in the movement, producing solar panels using only renewable energy, and championing the Glass-Glass solar panel, whose production requires less CO2-intense raw materials.“
Vidmantas Janulevičius, Founder and Chairman of the Board at SoliTek and Global BOD Group
