Class of the Week-2/1M

What a fantastic Term 3! We have had a lot of fun playing, learning and doing maths. We look after one another in the playground and then when we come inside we are ready to learn. We are learning to identify and use simple punctuation in literacy. In numeracy, we are learning to count by 10’s on and off the decade. We are also sharing and grouping to make us smart when we divide. We’ve been working so hard, making our teacher proud.

I hope that all the dads had a fantastic Father’s Day and enjoyed the little gifts that we made for them in playgroup. The children (and mums) had a fun time making them. If you have children that are too young for school and you are looking for something to keep them entertained, come and join in the fun.

Glenroi Grasshoppers – Tuesday, 9.30 – 11.00, Marang Gunya (Cootes Access Centre) Cheeky Monkeys – Friday, 9.15 – 11:00, GHPS in the Carewest Preschool room

Playgroups are a great opportunity to meet other families. If you have any questions please contact Rachel Livingstone, SaCC Facilitator on 0401 004 092 or just turn up.
