PICKUPS AND ELECTRONICS The MicroXTCT (uXTCT) Preamp in the Swordtail Tailpiece provides 3 band tone control – Bass and Treble boost and cut are controlled by convenient stacked knobs, and Mid cut is set by an internal trimmer. The Swordtail features 2 inputs as RCA jacks which can be balanced with a Blend control. The system has a standard ¼” output jack and Master Volume control. The switch can be used to bypass the preamp for a passive output of the Upper Input only. The system is powered directly by a 9V battery which will last for up to a year of typical use.
