! For many centuries, our country has been kept underdeveloped and our people, ignorant and subservient by foreign powers.

! In spite of vast riches and mineral resources she remained an impoverished nation due to foreign exploitation and corruption.

! Despite 2 “people power revolutions” within the last 30 years in the name of “fighting corruption,” our country became the poorest in Asia, it’s people suffering in poverty and hunger like never before, due to unabated corruption.

! Today, more and more of its citizens, especially the Youth, are expressing disgust over the worsening situation.

The social volcano is rumbling and may soon erupt into a massive social upheaval.

Similar situations in Syria, Egypt, Turkey, Brazil where major people protests against government corruption and ineptitude have spilled out into major protests, and violence, possibly giving impetus to mounting local protest voices.

After 30 years, the people are finally finding their voice and waking up to the realization that they have been lied to and deceived all along.

Destiny seems to have returned to take over the fate of the nation and set the stage for real

change.
