Where am I now?

Where do I want to go?

How am I going to get there?

“Procrastination is the thief of time”

Avoid the Princess Buttercup Syndrome

When I grow up a lovely woman will fall in love with me and marry me and take care of our family.

Unless you can promise………………..That you will marry

That your wife will always take care of the children and all the details in the home

That she will never leave you and you will never leave her

That she will never die

Then you will need to know how take care of the family duties at home

Strong possibility that your wife will work for pay outside the home for most of your married life

Strong possibility of having a wife who earns more money than you

Strong possibility of having a woman as your boss

Strong possibility in case of divorce, having to contribute and maintain two households

Avoid the Prince Charming Syndrome

When I grow up a rich man will fall in love with me and marry me and take care of me

Unless you can promise……………..That you will marry

That your husband will always earn enough money to support the family

That he will never leave you and you will never leave him

That he will never die

Then you need to be able to support yourself and possibly a family

in poverty
