For many men and women, a prison sentence means the end of the road. The end of planning, dreaming, or

hoping. Meaning in life is reduced to a quest to simply get through one more day. But Jesus doesn’t forget about us just because we make wrong choices or find ourselves on the wrong path.

No, He stands with open arms, ready to give us another opportunity to make things right ... and to trust Him to restore what has been broken or lost.

That’s why, with the help of faithful partners like you, we created the TBN 2nd Chance initiative. The world is some-times a dark place, and prisons can be even darker. But all it takes is a spark of light—like you provide through TBN

2nd Chance—to give hope to the hopeless and grace when someone needs it most.

A Signal of Hope Bringing Freedom to InmatesA longtime chaplain in the California State Prison system says, “TBN 2nd Chance allows inmates to voluntarily tune in to positive programs that will help them grow emotion-ally, mentally, and spiritually in an institutional environment that is often plagued by violence and negativity.”

TBN 2nd Chance is an opportunity for ministering res-toration to anyone incarcerated across America—men, women, and juveniles alike. It’s free of any expense to state, county, and local governmental facilities. When a correc-tional facility administrator signs up, they’re provided with a full satellite dish install, complete with receivers, fully

funded by TBN 2nd Chance. Inmates are then able to view the

same inspiring content you view at home on up to four of our faith-based, commercial-free, 24/7 networks: TBN, the Hillsong Channel, JUCE TV, and Enlace. It’s nothing short of a miracle, as inmates who are plagued by anger, guilt, and a multitude of other negative emo-tions, finally hear a message of restora-tion and forgiveness in Christ. Because of your faithful support, inmates of all ages and backgrounds are hearing and taking hold of a message that changes their lives.

Living Testimonies of Christ’s Impact in Prison“I made a horrible mistake,” inmate Eric Donaldson told us. “I was involved in an armed robbery. Eventually I was caught and ended up in prison. While in prison, there was a television mounted on the wall, and it had TBN playing on it. As I watched television, it showed people like T.D. Jakes and Creflo Dollar. As I began to watch them, it ministered to my spirit. Eventually, I committed my life to Christ.”

Eric adds, “God brought my sentence down from years to only 19 months. Eventually, God began to bring people around me in prison He wanted me to minister to. As I began to minister to them, God transformed my life. Ever since then I’ve been a catalyst for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank God for TBN inside of that prison. It saved me and changed me.”

Imagine that—not only did God’s Gospel of Grace change Eric’s life, but then he also became a light to those around him.

“In prison I felt hopeless and lost,” said TBN partner Tim Cox. “But my second night in the county jail, I met Jesus. I told Jesus, ‘I am the fool of all fools for not walking with you.’ Still, the judge gave me 30 years in prison.”

Over the next 10 years, Tim experi-enced a Bible boot camp right there in the prison—because of TBN. “I did a lot of my growing in the Lord watch-ing TBN. I don’t think my mind ever really went to prison. I can honestly say I learned and grew.”

Ironically, we hadn’t even started the 2nd Chance program when Tim first

went to prison. But he rigged a cop-per wire to receive our signal … and it changed his life forever. Just imagine what direct access to TBN 2nd Chance means for today’s inmates!

Chance has provided 24-hour faith pro-gramming for over 750 prisons in more than 30 states across the US, ultimately impacting nearly 1 million inmates.

“When I was in 6th grade I was bullied a lot. It’s hard because they say so many things about you, you know are not true … but it just gets to you.

“I would talk to my grandmother and ask her what I should do. She would tell me to pray to God and watch TBN. I decided to turn it on, and there was a show talking to me about everything I was dealing with.

“One day there was a bully in the hallway telling me I shouldn’t be happy. I told her, ‘I’m going to be happy no

matter what because I have God and He’s helping me. And no matter what you say to me I’m going to pray for you.’

“She started to cry. She said that was the first nice thing someone had said to her. I was surprised! To this day we’re friends.

“When you have God, you’re not alone. I was lost and upset. Now that I let God into my life, I’m happy.”
